Why VUMC: I couples matched with my partner, who is in anesthesiology, and Vanderbilt checked off all the things we were looking for in a program. It is a strong academic institution with great, supportive faculty in different subspecialties within PM&R. During my interview, the faculty I interacted with all had a positive mindset and were very welcoming. After the interview day and through interactions with the current residents, I knew Vanderbilt was the right fit for me. Nashville is also a great city to live in and train. I am excited for these next 4 years!

Outside Interests and Hobbies: Playing/watching sports and cheering on Miami teams through the highs and lows, exploring new restaurants and speakeasies/bars, collecting Jordan 1s and Air Max 97s, BBQ on my electric smoker.
